While on vacation this weekend, I found out about this quaint little spot in San Luis Obispo, California, where people have taken to sticking their gum on the wall. It is impressive how much gum can fit this narrow area, called Bubblegum Alley.
Above: People stick random notes onto the gum. Below: My brother in front of the gum wall.
To more info, here’s the Bubblegum Alley Wikipedia page.

Ewwww!!!!!!! Well, if icky, done!
This is a fantastic shot, I love it. I too really enjoy using mundane subjects for my pics, it’s a case of seeing the art in everything, it’s there if you look isn’t it? :)
Thanks! Definitely, I agree that you just have to look for things beyond what we normally would notice, and you can find something there.
That’s pretty bizarre, but an excellent shot. :-)

Hahahaha, I love it! In Italy there’s a city called Verona where you can find Juliet’s house (yes, from Romeo and Juliet), and this place is a stage for lovers to put there your padlockers to the endless love. The couples who don’t have money for padlockers, they use to put bubblegums and write on it. :D
haha that’s a cool tradition
