
About a dozen people were injured Thursday afternoon when an Orange Unified school bus crashed into some trees on Nohl Ranch Road in Anaheim Hills.
According to the Orange County Register, 11 students and the driver were injured in the crash, which happened near the Anaheim Hills Golf Course.
The California Highway Patrol was leading the investigation, and Anaheim police officers and firefighters were at the scene.
The bus appeared to be lodged into a tree about 5-10 feet onto a steep hill just off the street.
The driver and students’ conditions were not known Thursday evening. According to the Orange Unified School District, the driver has been a full-time driver with the district since 2010.
