I took this photo of my friend David while we were shooting a video for my church college group.
The photo is really just a bunch of converging lines, from the camera slider to the light to the roof panels.
While on vacation this weekend, I found out about this quaint little spot in San Luis Obispo, California, where people have taken to sticking their gum on the wall. It is impressive how much gum can fit this narrow area, called Bubblegum Alley.
Above: People stick random notes onto the gum. Below: My brother in front of the gum wall.
To more info, here’s the Bubblegum Alley Wikipedia page.
My brother, center, and two friends practice playing music during a long summer evening in southern California a few nights ago. This was taken with a several-second exposure with the light coming from my friend Sergio’s (on the left) cell phone camera.
Their band is called the ruff draft and you can check out their music here:
I’m thankful it’s Christmas time. This has been an intense semester and there have been many days that I have been so busy I have not even been able to think. I am thankful that Christmas has come, and I am celebrating it by decorating my desk at my newspaper job.
What I had to write for the newspaper yesterday was one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life. It was just so emotionally draining.
I just want to be thankful for Jesus and Christmas is the perfect time: “Joy to the world, the Lord is come!”
This is my newsroom, where I work as a copy editor for The Daily Titan, my college newspaper. I took these tonight during production to show a few of the editors as well as my computer and workspace. The guy in the white with a pen in his mouth in the first and last picture is David, a news editor. The guy with glasses in the third picture is Peter, a fellow copy editor.
